Viktor Ivanchyk
Founder and CEO

Viktor Ivanchyk founded Astarta-Kyiv in 1993, prior to which he worked at the Kyiv Aviation Association and served as a civil servant.

He graduated from the Kharkiv Aviation Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1979, and also graduated from International Management Institute (IMI Kyiv) Senior Executive MBA Program in 2007.

Honored worker of Agriculture of Ukraine.


Viktor Gladkyi
Financial Director

Viktor Gladkyi joined Astarta-Kyiv in 2012, prior to which he was Member of the Board of several state and commercial banks, including UkrExim Bank, Citi Bank, TAS Commerzbank, and Pravex Bank (Inteza Sanpaolo Group). In 1994, he was the head of Sectertariat of the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine.

In 1985 Viktor Gladky graduated from Kyiv State Shevchenko University with a degree in international economic relations and law.


Zeljko Erceg
Operations Director

Zeljko Erceg graduated from National Agrarian University in Zagreb (Croatia) and Belgrad (Serbia) in 1995 with degree in agricultural science.

Prior to joining Astarta-Kyiv in 2014 he worked at Serbian companies Matievich-Agrar and MK Group. In 2006 Zeljko Erceg set up Agro Invest Ukraine the subsidiary of MK Group and managed it for 8 years.

Zeljko Erceg has significant experience in organizational restructuring and introduction of advanced technologies and methods of management in agribusiness.


Mykola Kovalski
Director, Marketing and Communications

Mykola Kovalski joined Astarta-Kyiv in 2008, prior to which he worked on large-scale energy projects and Ukraine - EU economic relations.

He graduated with honors with a physics degree from Kyiv State Shevchenko University in 1989 and graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade with a degree in international management in 1999. In 2010, he graduated from International Management Institute with diploma in finance and accounting.


Nataliia Trokhymchuk
Commercial Director

Nataliia Trokhymchuk graduated from Vinnytsia National Technical University with a degree in software engineering in 1996.

Prior to joining Astarta-Kyiv in January 2016, she worked in International and Ukrainian trading and processing companies. Since 2004 Nataliia Trokhymchuk was employed for International trading сompany Glencore.


Valerii Pavlenko
Head of Procurement and Logistics Department

Joined joined Astarta-Kyiv in February 2015. Has experience in food and pharmaceutical industries on positions in procurement and logistics.

Valerii Pavlenko has a degree in social psychology and finance. In 2005 he got an MBA status in the Higher school of postgraduate education in California, USA and in 2007 he got the degree of magister in military and social management in the National Academy of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine.


Yuriy Vahel
Head of Business Development

Yuriy Vahel joined Astarta-Kyiv in 2017, prior he worked for international companied such as COFCO Agri, AES, Cargill. Yuriy Vahel graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University as an engineer-electrician and graduated from Lviv State University with specialty “jurisprudence”. In 2004 and 2006 he studied at Darden Business School.


Liliya Timakina
Director for Legal Issues

Liliya Timakina joined Astarta-Kyiv in 2015, prior she worked as private lower and held positions in juridical departments in different international and state holding companies. In 1994 Liliya Timakina graduated from Kyiv State Shevchenko University and graduated from H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University In 2014 obtained a license to practice law.


Taras Chekurda
Director for security and land management

Taras Chekurda joined “Astarta-Kyiv” in 2016. Prior he held positions in state and private organization such as Ministry of energy and coal industry of Ukraine, “Poltavaoblenergo”, Group of Companies “Foxtrot”, State Company “Vohor”. Taras Chekurda has diploma in jurisprudence, finance and nuclear power.


Svitlana Mozgova
Head of CSR

Prior to join ASTARTA Svitlana had experience in other companies on the following positions: HR – business partner, Head of HR, Head of corporate partnership and social responsibility devision. Svitlana has strong experience in introduction of HR systems in big international and national companies in Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan (banking, agro, retail, production spheres). Was in charge of more than 30 seminars for big and medium scale enterprises, such as ASTARTA, Galnaftogaz, ILF, Providna, VTB, PUMB, Pivdennyi


Inna Efimchuk
Head of sugar beet procurement

Inna Efimchuk joined Astarta-Kyiv in 2010 and has experience in sugar industry for more than 28 years. Previously Inna Efimchuk had position of head of marketing, procurement and logistics in different companies. Inna Efimchuk has higher education in In 2008, Inna Efimchuk graduated from Ternopil National Economic University and got the specialty “Finance”. Inna Efimchuk has a significant experience in establishing of partnership relations and aimed at increase of level of satisfaction of Company’s clients.
